Each Day Is Valentine’s Day (Book Thoughts: Valentine Delights)

29077964I started reading “Valentine Delights” as a sort of pre-game for Valentine’s Day. It’s one of those anthology books: in this case, eight M/M authors contributing Valentine-themed short stories. But these are not nuanced slice-of-life stories dealing with human existence, but more shortened versions of love stories, and it has no pretensions of anything else besides it. Honestly, I wish I liked the stories more – you obviously know where these stories are going from the first word. I just wish there were something more there. But, that’s not what these are and for what they are, they deliver well. Did it put me in a Valentine mood? Not as much as I though it would, but it’s not their fault.
