A simple love story. That’s how one can describe Charlie Winters’ ‘Fin & Matt.’ And sometimes that is all you need – two interesting characters who fall in love right away (Hey, I hear that happens sometimes *ha-ha*) and then we get to know these characters as they settle into falling in love with each other. And even though some of the conflict can be on the trivial side, they make sense, as it mirrors what actually happens when you get into a relationship. Looking at Goodreads, I see that a lot of people are mad about the epilogue – wherein the author narrates what happens to their next twenty or so years, and of course, the HEA that you got gets marred. But hey, that’s life, and I think that the author has established that Fin and Matt lived full and happy lives. Reality can be hard to take sometimes.
