I always love a goo coming-of-age movie, but I kin of did not dig ‘Summer 03.’  Joey King plays Jamie a teenager who gets a couple of doozy revelations from her grandmother at the latter’s death bed. Funny? I know it’s satire, but I thought it was kind of mean. King is charming and believable, but everyone around her seems to be caricatures, and while there were genuine moments in the film, I mostly tuned out.
