Australian crooner David Campbell is back in the swing of things, with a new album titled, appropriately, ‘Back In The Swing.’  Campbell sings in the modern crooner style a la Buble, although I think maybe he has been singing even Buble hit it big. In any event, this is a solid standards album, if a bit generic for my taste. But that is just picky old me – there is nothing wrong with this disc with solid renditions of some good old chestnuts. If you are a fan of his from Australian morning television, then go ahead and enjoy this album.
