On to Episode 4 on Hulu (I think the episodes are paired differently initially) and we have ‘The Ballerina,’ and ‘Paul’s Broken Heart.’ The first half is just okay – there is some parallel storytelling here where two people met at a party and at a costume ball. I wish there was more character development here as I thought the costume part seemed just an excuse to wear costume. but it was well done.
the second half, ‘Paul’s Broken Heart’ is good. It has a ‘reveal’ at the end, and mixes elements of the fantastical with the romantic. I have to admit I was kind of surprised by the twist and got taken along with it, so….
