I think ‘Happy Hour’ is a great title for Seattle-based Susan Lowman RObinson’s album. She has a nice breezy sound that wouldn’t be out of place if you were in a nice beachy bar watching the sunset. The music has a lot of movement, and I would say it is closer to 80s jazz fusion music. Coupled with slick production and her carefree vocals, it pairs great with a glass of wine. And there are great songs here, from Brasilian classics to standards and even John Legend’s ‘All of Me.’ I don’t much mind it at all.
