I think I said earlier that there didn’t seem to be much ‘plot’ in the second season of Vida, but as I go through Episodes 5 to 7, I can say that yes, there are more things happening. And I like that we are getting to see the characters dig deeper – like now there is even a chance that Emma and Lyn are not full sisters? Most of the plot is the road to Vida, the bar. We get obstacles upon obstacles, like the fire hazard, but thankfully Lyn gets to the rescue with Rudy, her new councilor friend. I don’t know why, but I find myself rooting for Lyn, even as she does stupid things after stupider things sometimes. And i would really like an Emma-Nico thing, too.
