Anywhere But Lonely (Movie Thoughts: Anywhere With You)

I moved to Los Angeles two years ago and I know how it feels to start over in a new town. In this film, a young couple, Amanda and Jake (Morgan Saylor and McCaul Lombardi) take that big leap and move to Los Angeles. But a lot happens on their first twenty four hoursĀ  – roadblocks, door closings, rejections. If this were any other film, those would have been the start of something horrific. But this film is a lot more optimistic, and it does by showing how strong young love can be. I found that refreshing. I couldn’t help but tag along their ride, and when they end up in happy place, I found that I was brought there too. Surely some if the film feels like a fairy tale, but there is nothing wrong with believing.
