Mikey Alfred’s ‘North Hollywood’ has been compared to both ‘Ladybird’ and ‘Mid 90s’ and I get it. But this film, while I can probably say is well-done, just didn’t connect with me. I don’t know, maybe it’s too straight male centric, and is also focused on skateboarding which I have no inyterest in. Add to the mix that it also stars Vince Vaughan, who is a big Trump supporter. All this adds up to a lot of ‘meh’ for me. It just basically bored me, and even though I know a lot of people will probably like this, it just ain’t for me.
